Natalie grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and began riding competitively around the age of 10. She trained with Maria Kneipp of Kneipp Farm for all of her junior career. As a young junior, she competed in local OHJA and KHJA shows, as well as A and AA rated shows. Like most, she started in the cross rails and short stirrup and then advanced into the pony divisions. She competed at USEF pony finals with a couple of different mounts. Once moving on from the pony division she showed in the children’s hunters and children’s jumpers and dabbled a bit in both the equation and medal rings. Upon entering college, Natalie joined the University of Tennessee IHSA riding team where she competed for several years as an open rider. In addition to the riding team she also started as a working student at GK performance horses after proving herself to be useful there she eventually became an employee. During her time at GK, she worked with many young horses and sales horses and was able to show for the farm several times in A shows and City League Horse shows. While working there, she had the opportunity to ride with trainers such as Peter Leone and Christoph Schroeder. Natalie began working at Sonny Brooke Stables in December of 2014 teaching students from beginners to advanced.
